YOUR SAY SO FAR
Since the start of 2009 there have been a number of consultation opportunities for local people to contribute to all stages of the development of the Vision.
That started with opportunities for people to suggest issues, add in ideas, and suggest overall approaches and options. Before any plans were finalised there were further opportunities to develop and respond to a series of options for various parts of the town. Finally, people had a chance to comment on what had begun to look like the ‘preferred option' ‘before the ink dried', so things could change as a result.
The consultation also used different methods: people from key groups and organisations worked in depth during evening workshops, local young people developed ideas through daytime workshops and ‘everybody' had a chance to call in to open events and add their thoughts. In total, almost 1,200 people contributed, often with considerable amounts of their time. Many, many thanks for that.
There will be further opportunities to get involved in shaping Bridgwater's future both on the plans as a whole and then for specific projects that move forward. You can also use the Contacts page on this website to feedback to us.
